Hammonton Middle School Graduation
Hammonton Middle School 8th grade graduation will be Monday June 18th at 6:30 PM in the High School Gym. Students will be given 4 tickets each. Due to the size of the graduating class, and the fire code for capacity, there will be no additional tickets available, however, we are pleased to announce that this will be the first year that the HMS Graduation Ceremony will be broadcast live in the Hammonton High School Performing Arts Center. Any extended family member who would like to attend and watch the ceremony live may do so. There will be no tickets needed for attendance in the PAC. Just simply come and enjoy the show.

2018 Mini Model Congress
On Wednesday April 18, some eighth grade Enrichment Language Arts students from Hammonton Middle School traveled to the State House in Trenton to participate in Mini Model Congress which allows students to act as lawmakers for the day. The process began in the fall with all students researching and writing bills of their choice and culminated in a day of debate with students from another New Jersey middle school.
Declan Roeder, Leah DiRenzo, Will Bauers, and Abby Mauriello had their bills chosen for debate that day. Roeder’s bill to restrict bump stocks and require stronger background checks for the purchasing of firearms passed out of committee.

Trills & Thrills Music Fesitval
On Friday, May 4th, 155 members of the Hammonton Middle School Band and Chorus traveled to Boyertown High School in Boyertown, PA to participate in the Thrills and Trills Music Festival. The chorus received a “Superior” rating (Highest Possible) and the bands received an “Excellent” rating (second highest possible) during their festival performances. Following the festival, students spent the afternoon at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. Congratulations to all members of the Chorus and Band on their hard work and successful performances on Friday.
