The Hammonton High School Guidance Department would like to remind our senior students of the many scholarship opportunities that are available.
The “Local Scholarship Award Application” is now available for download and is due to your child’s Guidance Counselor by Tuesday, April 18th.
Students can visit the Guidance Office Career Center for hard copies of the applications.

Hammonton All-Sports Booster Club Award
The club will award one female and male athlete $1,000 scholarship. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Due Date May 12th.
Waterford Township Athletic Association has established an annual fund whereby (2) $500.00 scholarships are awarded. All applicants should complete and submit applications file via email by May 1st. Applications are available on the Guidance Webpage under Scholarships.
Cooper Levenson Scholarship – Applications for this scholarship is now available for the firm’s 2017 program.

South Jersey Bass Club is offering a scholarship opportunity. If you are going to major in Environmental Science or similar course of study then you should visit www.Sjbca.org and click on scholarship to the right of the page. Applications due May 1st.
The Toni Donato-Bolis Scholarship is now available @ www.toniandrjfoundation.org – Students will be selected on Academic Achievement and a desire to become active in the Foundation to represent awareness on the dangers of distracted driving. April 3rd Deadline.
Shades of Harmony – If you are pursuing a career in vocal music you should apply for this award. Applications are available in the Guidance Office under the letter S for Shades. Deadline is April 1st.
Dan Ross Memorial Fund – If you are going to play a Division I, II or III sport you can qualify for this scholarship opportunity. Applications are available in the Guidance Office under R for Ross. Deadline is March 31st.
Atlantic County International Association of Insurance Professionals Scholarship – If you are planning to attend college you can apply for this scholarship.
Applications are available under the letter A for Atlantic.
Local 54 Thomas Kissick Scholarship – Applications available in the Guidance Office under the letter L for Local. The award is $1000 and the deadline is April 7th.
Hammonton Rotary Club Youth Leadership Award – Attention Juniors if you would like the opportunity to be challenged and enriched by motivational speakers you should apply for this Rotary Award. The deadline is March 31st. Get the application @ www.hammontonrotary.com

MBCA Scholarship – This scholarship opportunity can be accessed by visiting www.mbcanj.com The deadline is March 17th. Scholarships will be awarded in the amounts of $1,500.
Builders League Scholarship – If you are pursuing a course of study in Real Estate or the Construction Industry you can apply for this scholarship ($3,500). Applications are available online at www.blsj.com/scholarshipinformation The deadline is April 24th.
Music Scholarship – Cape Shore Chorale will award $500 scholarship to a senior vocal music student who will be attending a college in the Fall of 2017. Applications are available in the Guidance Office under the letter M for Music.

NJUA – The New Jersey Utilities Association Scholarship will award (2) Trade and Vocational Scholarships. Please visit www.njua.com for applications. The deadline is April 8th. Lance Corporal Jon T. Hicks, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Award Fund
The Lance Cpl. Jon T. Hicks, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Award Fund is a foundation setup to provide students the opportunity to pursue a military or law enforcement career. The award is given in remembrance of Lance Cpl. Jon T. Hicks, Jr. who died at the age of 20 in the line of duty in Iraq. Jon was a member of the U.S. Marines Corp and aspired to a career in law enforcement.

Fred Baker Scholarship – Any senior pursuing a Career in either Law Enforcement or Fire/Rescue Fields should apply for this $2000 scholarship. You can pick up an application in the Guidance Office under the letter B for Baker. Deadline is March 31, 2017.
Avoda Award – The Avoda Award is an annual award given to two or three outstanding Jewish Students who attend high schools in Atlantic or Cape May County. Students who receive this award are also in the top 10% of their class. $80,000 is usually spilt between two or three students! Educational Testing Service Employees’ Community Action Fund (ECAF) Scholarship Program – This program specifically seeks to help graduating public high school seniors facing hardships, including but not limited to financial need.
